Worship for all
Worship is the primary
function of St Augustine's. Here, we have different worship styles.
By offering a variety of worship, we hope that you will find something that
suits you. We try to make it
accessible to everyone - we have a hearing aid loop and sound system so that
everyone can hear what's going on, and large print orders of service for
those who have difficulty reading small-print.

Choral Eucharist
Service of Holy Communion,
which includes hymns and parts of the service are sung.
Sometimes includes baptisms.

2nd Sunday |
All Age Worship
Probably our most popular service!! A
family-friendly service suitable for all ages, which aims to get
the message of Jesus across in a different way. No books, no
sheets - everything is on the multimedia screen. We
sometimes include craft within our worship. We
encourage everyone to take part.
The service take a selected theme
(sometimes using the gospel reading of the day) and relates it
to everyday life. Previous themes include The Olympics,
The Lion King, Love and smell.

United Eucharist with the
Methodists
(please note: alternating venue)
St Augustine's has a long relationship with
Rodbourne Methodist Church, and once a month, both churches
unite for worship.
When held at St Augustine's, the
service is normally Holy Communion.

4th Sunday |
Family Worship
A service
based on Common Worship Morning Prayer. This service
normally includes a Children's talk, who then leave the
service to have time together away from the main service.
They rejoin the main congregation towards the end of the
service. It is not compulsory for children to leave
the service, they are most welcome to stay.

Holy Communion
Followed by refreshments. The first Wednesday of the month
includes healing and laying on of hands.

Taize Service
A peaceful service with candles and
reflective music, words and a period of silence - a beautiful
way to come to God in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
